AI Gateway 1.0 notes
As the AI Gateway launches to the University of Minnesota community, there are a lot of "unknowns" we're looking to resolve. We want to understand what real world needs are like around performance, model availability, rate limits, budget controls, and other operational concerns. We also want to understand what advanced capabilities are most useful to the community, and how we can best support those needs - agents, mcps, skills, etc.
Our goal for 1.0 was to provide a stable, cost-managed way to access a breadth of models, and we think we've provided that. Now we're going to be focused on evolving this platform to meet a broader set of needs.
Please reach out to the support team with your feedback, and we'll do our best to incorporate it into our roadmap. aigateway@umn.edu
